EDMONDS — No one was injured when shots were fired Sunday evening at Andy’s Motel in Edmonds.

Bullets struck the building along Highway 99 about 8:35 p.m., Sgt. Josh McClure said.

The victim didn’t immediately identify himself. The 42-year-old Seattle man later said he was robbed of his phone and cash by four people who were in his room.

“At least one of the subjects was known to him, but he was not actively cooperative with officers or detectives,” McClure said.

The suspects were described as a woman and three men. They reportedly fired the shots as they fled the scene.

“This was not a random incident, and there is no immediate threat to the general public,” McClure said.
