LYNNWOOD — An 18-year-old man was tied up and robbed Saturday after meeting up with a woman in the Alderwood mall parking lot.

The man had contacted the woman who was advertising online for sexual liaisons, Deputy Police Chief Jim Nelson said.

“There was a discussion of price,” Nelson said.

The man got into the woman’s car about 8 p.m. Two other men then showed up and kidnapped him, Nelson said. They took him to a bank and unsuccessfully tried to withdraw money.

At some point, the man was able to get loose from his ties and run to get help. His car also was stolen and had not been recovered as of Monday.
