Police: Man wounded in arm by accidental shooting

EVERETT — Police believe a shooting near Lake Stickney on Monday was accidental.

A man in his 40s was shot in his hand, said Shari Ireton with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. It happened about 4:30 p.m. on 12th Place W., between Lynnwood and Everett.

The man was alone in the home at the time, Ireton said. He told detectives that he was placing the gun on a table when it fired.
