LYNNWOOD — Police have made arrests in the case where a 18-year-old man was tied up and robbed Saturday after meeting up with a prostitute in Lynnwood.
The victim was attacked by two men after he got in the woman’s car in the Alderwood mall parking lot. They took his money and his car and attempted to withdraw money from his bank account, according to Lynnwood police. He also was assaulted before he was able to escape and run for help.
On Monday night, Bellevue police found the suspects’ vehicle at a fast-food restaurant. The woman and two men were inside the car.
The woman provided information that led to the recovery of the victim’s stolen car, Lynnwood police Sgt. Sean Doty said Tuesday. The victim reportedly had met the woman after responding to her online ad for sexual liaisons. She was not arrested pending further investigation.
The two men believed to be involved in the incident were arrested. They were expected to be booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of kidnapping and robbery.
