Cascadia Art Museum: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. On third Thursdays, the museum is open until 8 p.m. and is free during Edmonds Art Walk hours, 5 to 8 p.m. Museum is at 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds. Northwest Sculpture: Five Decades of Form and Innovation and Northwest Paintings and Studio Ceramics: A Regional Perception are displayed through August. The newest exhibit, Northwest Social Realism and the American Scene — 1930 to 1950, is displayed through March 26.

Schack Art Center: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett; 425-259-5050; www.schack.org. Free admission. Schack classes include drawing, printmaking, basketry, jewelry and metal smithing, encaustic, painting, fused glass and blown glass. Fiber Fusion, a group exhibition featuring 80 members of the Surface Design Association of Washington State, is up through April 15. Also, see the Washington Art Education Association Youth Art Month exhibit through March.

Museum of Special Art: Noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 720 238th St. SE, in Country Village, Bothell; www.museumofspecialart.org. Colors of My World exhibition is up through March 24. The exhibit features award-winning artist David Baker.

Edmonds Historical Museum: 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday in the old Carnegie Library, 118 Fifth Ave. N., Edmonds; $5 for adults, $2 for students; 425-774-0900; www.historicedmonds.org. Current show is Edmonds in Focus, an extensive collection of photographs of the city. Closes April 23.

Hibulb Cultural Center: Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. weekends. Free on first Thursdays until 8 p.m.; 6410 23rd Ave. NE, Tulalip; 360-716-2635; www.hibulbculturalcenter.org. Vibrant Beauty: Colors of Our Collection is displayed until spring. The interactive exhibit allows visitors to explore how color has influenced Coast Salish people and how it is used today.

Call to artists

Schack Art Center: The Schack is seeking work for its annual Art of the Garden show, June 15-Sept. 2 and for its Fresh Paint festival, Aug. 19-20. For information about submitting images and an application, go to www.schack.org/calls-to-artists/register. Also, the Artists’ Garage Sale is June 3.

Taking applications: Red Curtain Foundation for the Arts is accepting applications for artists and fine crafters who want to participate the fifth annual It’s Raining Art show and sale, April 22-23 at the Red Curtain Arts Center in Marysville. Only 20 vendor booths are available for this two-day juried indoor show. Registration fee is $65. Everett Quilt Show: Through The Eye of the Quilter has issued an open call for entries, with a deadline of March 31. All styles of quilting are welcome to enter, including large or small quilts, wearable art, accessories and more. Show dates are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 28-29 in the Hanson Conference Center at Xfinity Arena on Hewitt Avenue in Everett. Art Loft Sisters at Fisherman’s Market and Grill: Regular business hours at 1032 W. Marine View Drive, Everett. Through May 1, see art works by Susan Rothschild, a former model for Salvador Dali and Bert Stern. First a photographer, Rothschild moved into digital art. She prints a combination of watercolor and giclee on glass, tile, porcelain, cotton and paper. Also featured will be Debby McCoy and her clay masks.

Artspace Everett Lofts Lobby: See works by painter Ruth Lopez through April 8 at 2917 Hoyt Ave., next to the Schack Art Center. Call 425-252-5959.

Monica Jane Frisell exhibits photographic portraits taken in the Northwest, as the gallery helps kick off her coast to coast trip and expand her Looking Forward — Portraits from an RV.

Edmonds Library Gallery and Frances Anderson Center: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at 650 Main St. Opening March 16, by the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation and Edmonds Arts Commission, is Terri Shinn’s Exploring Structures through Color and Texture. A reception is set for 5:30 to 8 p.m. March 16 during Art Walk Edmonds.

Edmonds Community College Art Gallery: 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until 2 p.m. Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. weekends; third floor, Lynnwood Hall, 20000 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood; edcc.edu/gallery.

Everett Community College’s Russell Day Gallery: Room 219, Parks Student Union, 2000 Tower St. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays. Keith Imus shows stainless steel sculpture, paintings and ink drawings through March 17. Imus is a former EvCC art instructor.

Gallery North: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at 401 Main St., Edmonds; 425-774-0946; gallerynorthedmonds.com. The gallery’s annual Small Works Show is displayed through March 30, featuring an array of small format paintings and drawings.

Lynnwood Convention Center: An art exhibition, curated by Everett’s Schack Art Center, is displayed through June at the convention center. The exhibit can be viewed during regular business hours Monday through Friday at the center, 3711 196th St. SW.

Rosehill Community Center: 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at 304 Lincoln, Mukilteo. Mukilteo School District’s Secondary Art Exhibit is displayed through March 27.

Snohomish County Arts Commission: In the lobby of the Bob Drewel Building (on the county campus at Rockefeller and Wall streets in Everett) see portraits by artist Jeffrey O’Boyle through April. He is a member of the Portrait Society of America.

Admission is $7, with discounts for students, children, military and members. Formerly the La Conner Quilt Museum, the organization is celebrating 20 years with numerous new exhibits.

Museum of Northwest Art: Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 121 First St., La Conner; www.monamuseum.org. Free. Through March 26, see Paul Havas — A Life of Painting. Opening April 1, which a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. is a show that features work by Debora Moore, Sara Siestreem and Camille Patha.
