TULALIP — Ramps at the I-5 and 116th Street NE interchange will be closed overnight this week for grinding work.

Nightly closures are planned Wednesday to Friday. The off-ramp from southbound I-5 will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The northbound on-ramp will be closed 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Tulalip Tribes contractor crews are replacing the 116th Street interchange near Marysville to reduce congestion and provide more capacity. The $62 million project started in 2015 and has proceeded in phases. Work is slated to wrap up in 2018.
