Don’t miss these bands at Fisherman’s Village Music Festival

The fourth annual Fisherman’s Village Music Festival is nearly here.
It’s three days — March 31, April 1-2 — packed with some of the best local bands out there, and they are all coming to downtown Everett. The Everett Music Initiative did an amazing job with the lineup and a ton of choices are offered.
If you’ve taken a quick look at the daily schedule, you might find yourself feeling a little overwhelmed trying to decide who to see.
We’ve got you covered.
Here’s a must-see act for each day of Fisherman’s Village Music Festival:
Thunderpussy, 11:30 p.m. March 31, Tony V’s Garage, 1716 Hewitt Ave.
These Seattle rockers are just about the most in-demand group in the Pacific Northwest right now. Thunderpussy played the main stage at the Sasquatch! Music Festival, the main stage at Capitol Hill Block Party and made an appearance at Bumbershoot. And that was all just in the past year.
So yeah, they’re kind of a big deal.
Now they have their sights set on Everett and will be headlining the stage at Tony V’s on Friday night of the festival. You have to experience this band live. Just don’t forget the earplugs because it’s going to be very loud.
Cataldo, 7 p.m., and Legs, 8 p.m. April 1, Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave.
Instead of just one must-see band Saturday, there are two. Good that they play one after the other on the same stage.
Seattle’s Cataldo is just weeks from releasing its upcoming full-length record “Keepers,” and the hype about the recording is justified. Cataldo’s record release party in Seattle is on April 28 and it’s already sold out. So the set at the Everett Performing Arts Center might be the best chance to see Cataldo around here for a while.
Come for Cataldo and stick around for the Brooklyn band Legs. Just be sure to stretch between sets because Legs will start the dance party. This band only makes it out West about once a year, so don’t miss your chance to see Legs live.
Courtney Marie Andrews, 9 p.m. April 2, Tony V’s Garage.
Fresh off a tour through Europe, a stop in Boise, Idaho, for the Treefort Music Festival and on her way to Sasquatch, Courtney Marie Andrews is a top name coming to Fisherman’s Village.
Since the release of her most recent LP, “Honest Life,” Courtney Marie Andrews has been picking up steam. Rolling Stone even named her one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know.”
Don’t miss her set at Tony V’s on Sunday night of the fest. You’ll be glad you went out on a work night.
