Woman killed by train in Edmonds was Lynnwood woman, 41

EDMONDS — The death of a woman who was struck by a train in Edmonds on Sunday has been ruled an accident.

Jade K. Reed, of Lynnwood, was 41, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Reed had been walking with her husband around 7:10 p.m. at Haines Wharf Park. She allegedly was trying to cross the tracks at the time, Edmonds police said. She died at the scene.
