EVERETT — A bank robbery near Silver Lake on Friday remains under investigation.
As of Monday, no arrests had been made, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
It happened around 5 p.m. at the KeyBank along 110th Street SE. A man entered the bank and passed the teller a note demanding cash. No weapon was seen.
The man ran away with a bag of money, but the dye pack exploded, and he left the bag in a nearby parking lot. He then got into a black Lexus. A woman who had been in the area also got into the car. “She is believed to be involved,” Snell said.
The man, who was white, wore a green hooded sweatshirt and an orange baseball cap. The woman, who also was white, wore a camouflage jacket. No other description of the pair was available Monday.
