A team of Everett Daily Herald photographers will show and tell stories about their best photos of 2016, in a free program Saturday at Everett Public Library.

The program is at 2 p.m. April 1 in the library’s auditorium, 2702 Hoyt Ave.

Herald photojournalists annually sift through thousands of archived images and pick the few that represented their strongest work of the year.

The photographers plan to talk about what makes a good photo: Composition, light quality, color, and, most important, the stories they tell. The photographers will be available for questions.

A Herald feature from Jan. 3, included a slide show of photos. Go to cmg-northwest2.go-vip.net/heraldnet/news/here-are-some-of-the-heralds-best-photographs-of-2016.
