Shell casings found after reported Everett shooting

EVERETT — Shell casings were found after a shooting was reported in north Everett early Wednesday.

Witnesses said they thought someone was injured, but no victims were located, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said. There also were no reports at area hospitals of anyone seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.

The gunfire happened just before 1 a.m. along Locust Street.

It appears the suspects left in a vehicle, Snell said. No other description was provided.
