Woman, 69, is struck by car in Lynnwood, hospitalized

LYNNWOOD — A woman was hospitalized Tuesday night after being struck by a Kia sedan in Lynnwood.
It happened about 8 p.m.on Highway 99 at the James Village Shopping Center. The woman, 69, was in a pedestrian crossing, Lynnwood police Sgt. Sean Doty said. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She is expected to survive.
The driver, a 58-year-old man, was not arrested while the investigation continues.
