LYNNWOOD — The state Liquor and Cannabis Board raided a Lynnwood-area apartment earlier this week as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal tobacco sales.
The home is along 164th Street SW. The resident reportedly was buying cigarettes, vaping supplies and other tobacco products from an unauthorized source and reselling the items without paying taxes.
Hundreds of boxes of goods, along with more than $7,000 in cash, was seized during the Wednesday raid, according to a news release sent Friday. Officials declined to discuss where the man was getting his wares.
The state is seeking felony charges. The suspect was released pending the court case.
