MILL CREEK — Police are asking for help finding five people who attempted to break into a gas station in Mill Creek early Monday.

A stolen 1994 Honda Accord pulled up to a Shell gas station shortly after midnight, according to a news release. The station is on the corner of Dumas Road and Highway 527.

Surveillance footage showed four people in hooded sweatshirts and masks getting out of the car. The driver stayed behind the wheel. They reportedly threw an object at one of the gas station windows, but the glass didn’t break, police said.

Instead, the group got back in the car and drove off.

The license plate of the stolen Honda is AEV7291.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the stolen car is asked to contact the Mill Creek Police Department at investigations@cityofmillcreek.com or 425-337-1115.
