Vehicle pursuit on I-5 near Lynnwood ends in driver’s arrest

LYNNWOOD — A driver was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after reportedly leading Washington State Patrol troopers on a chase on I-5 and colliding with multiple cars.
The arrest was made around 4 p.m., according to a tweet posted by the Washington State Patrol. The driver was heading north on I-5 near 164th Street SW in Lynnwood. The person’s car allegedly struck two vehicles. A trooper attempted to pull over the car, but the driver continued up the interstate. Three more cars were hit along the way.
One person received minor injuries.
At least two lane of traffic were blocked but later re-opened.
