1. Bollywood fun

The glitz and glamour of Bollywood comes to Everett at 5 p.m. today.

“Krishna Sabrang” — the many colors of Krishna — is at Xfinity Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

The concert is a benefit show for the nonprofit AIM for Seva, whose mission is to transform rural education in India.

Composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan, winner of the National Film Awards of India, is part of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio team that provides music for Bollywood and other international films. The music, played by a 20-piece orchestra, includes classical music from India, jazz and rock fusion.

Tickets start at $31.50. More at www.aimforsevausa.org/seattle or 866-332-8499.

2. Whidbey wonders

The Whidbey Island Farm Stand Guide will make your ferry ride especially fruitful. It has information about the six farmers markets on Whidbey Island and a number of roadside farm stands with cute little icons showing what products are sold.

The directory is available at www.goosefoot.org/pdf/farmstands.pdf.

3. Handbag heaven

Here’s your chance to score a great purse, have a great lunch and support a great cause.

The eighth annual Handbag Auction and Luncheon fundraiser for Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County is June 8, at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

The purses, which include many designer bags, are sold by silent and live auctions. The handbag event has been a hit since it started in 2010.

Tickets are $30 and include lunch. Doors open at 11 a.m. Lunch and the live auction is at noon.
