Explore low tide this summer
WSU Extension Snohomish County Beach Watchers plans its first Summer Beach Day from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park, 609 Front St. Explore low tide with naturalists to learn more about the beach and the creatures who call it home.
Other Summer Beach Days are planned through the summer at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park, Olympic Beach in Edmonds (200 Admiral Way), and Kayak Point County Park in Stanwood (15711 Marine Drive NE). The first event in Stanwood is 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday; the first in Edmonds is 1-3 p.m. June 27.

Take your dog to work
Mill Creek encourages folks to take part in Take Your Dog to Work Day on Friday. City employees are encouraged to bring their well-behaved canines to work.
Also that day, the Seattle Humane Society will bring a mobile adoption center and adoptable animals to Paddywack, 15407 Main St., Suite 101. The adoption event runs from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Paddywack also will host a meet-and- greet with greyhound pets, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The pooch fun continues Saturday with the Mutt March Poker Run and Walk, a three-mile dog-friendly event to benefit 6Dogrees Dog Rescue.

Campfire Snohomish County holds an open house at Camp Killoqua, 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at 15207 E Lake Goodwin Road, Stanwood.

MEETING
Learn about Triangle Cove work
The Snohomish Conservation District holds a public meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday to discuss continued work at Triangle Cove. The meeting will be held at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 N East Camano Drive, Camano Island.
Snohomish Conservation District and Island County Public Works are replacing the Kristoferson Creek culverts at Barnum and Russell roads. This will allow threatened Chinook salmon and other fish to move easily between the cove and creek.

Support group for better relationships
The YWCA offers a six-month support group for “Understanding Relationships,” 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, starting Wednesday and continuing to Dec. 13, at the YWCA Family Village, 19703 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood.
This group will explore the individual’s experience of relating and intimacy in relationships and groups. Individual counseling also is recommended. Registration is required.
