Work to close westbound lane of Mukilteo Boulevard this week

EVERETT — The westbound lane of Mukilteo Boulevard will be closed in Everett starting Monday. The closure, near Forest Park, could last through Friday afternoon.
City crews plan to repair the shoulder, shore up the hillside and repave the road, according to a news release. Detours are recommended using Evergreen Way, Madison Street and Glenwood Avenue.
The eastbound lane will stay open but delays are likely. Park access is not expected to be affected.
