The Marysville High School class of 1966 pooled their resources and paid for a new bench to be installed at Comeford Park. The bench sits between the water tower and playground. Two plaques commemorate the donation.

Community groups and individuals can donate benches and other memorials by filling out an application with the Marysville Parks, Culture and Recreation Department, which are then considered by the Parks Advisory Board. Costs vary. Applicants can request where to place a gift in a park, but the city has the final say.
