EVERETT — The Snohomish County Council has postponed a vote about funding agricultural and water-quality programs until after the yearly budget process.
The council Monday voted to continue a hearing until 10:30 a.m. Nov. 22.
The proposed change would generate an extra $1 million next year for Snohomish Conservation District programs. It would cost most property owners in Snohomish County’s unincorporated areas and within some local cities an extra $5 next year, though some would pay less. The new system would remain in place for five years, starting in 2018, unless extended.
