Man pinned between truck and building dies from injuries

LYNNWOOD — A 26-year-old man who was rescued Tuesday after being pinned between a box truck and a building has died from his injuries.
The man from Federal Way was making a delivery to a business in the 16900 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. His truck struck a wall around 1:40 p.m.
The man’s co-workers found him between the driver’s side of the truck and the building. They moved the vehicle, and a sheriff’s sergeant performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to release the man’s identity, as well as the cause and manner of his death.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate what led up to the incident.
