Pedestrian critically hurt while crossing street in Everett

EVERETT — A pedestrian suffered critical injuries late Saturday when she was struck by an SUV on W. Mukilteo Boulevard.
The woman, 62, was among three people crossing the street southward near Dogwood Drive when she was hit by a westbound Lincoln Navigator, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
An ambulance took the woman to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. Her injuries were considered life-threatening.
The driver, 47, remained at the scene. He cooperated with police and showed no signs of impairment, Snell said. He was not arrested.
Police continue to investigate.
