Boy wounded by gunfire in serious condition; no arrests

EVERETT — A 15-year-old boy who was shot at a party in Everett over the weekend remained in serious condition Tuesday.
Police have not made arrests connected with the shooting.
The party was hosted at a mansion on 35th Street in the Rucker Hill neighborhood. Detectives believe the gathering drew unwanted guests, which spurred an altercation, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
The boy was assaulted in front of a house on Kromer Avenue and 35th Street before the gunfire, Snell said. He was shot multiple times and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
No suspects have been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
