Suspect sought in Clinton gas station armed robbery

CLINTON — Police are searching for a man who reportedly robbed a Clinton gas station at gunpoint Tuesday evening.
A man wearing a black stocking cap and light-colored gloves walked into a gas station in the 11100 block of Highway 525, according to the Island County Sheriff’s Office. It was around 9:45 p.m.
The man brandished a long-barrel revolver and demanded cash from the register, according to the sheriff’s office. He ran north toward Langley Road.
The suspect was described as Hispanic and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He had short, dark hair and a mustache. The man was wearing light blue sweatpants, a gray sweatshirt and glasses with translucent yellow stripes on the lenses.
