EVERETT — A 35-year-old man was struck by a car Sunday night in south Everett.
Officers are investigating whether the driver was under the influence at the time of the collision.
The pedestrian was crossing Evergreen Way at 112th Street SW around 10 p.m. Meanwhile, a 29-year-old woman in a Volkswagen Passat turned left on to Evergreen Way, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell. Her car struck the man in the northbound lanes.
It was unclear whether the man was walking in a crosswalk, Snell said.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed for about an hour while detectives investigated.
