CLINTON — A Whidbey Island gas station was robbed a second time within two weeks on Sunday. Detectives believe one man may be responsible.
The suspect walked into Naomi’s gas station in the 11100 block of Highway 525 near Clinton. It was around 10:15 p.m. He reportedly brandished a long-barreled revolver and demanded money and cigarettes, according to the Island County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect was described as 5-foot-8 with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt and turquoise sweatpants, according to the sheriff’s office.
He matched the description of a man who robbed the same gas station on Oct. 31.
