Allow cannabis shops to hire guards

I saw the Nov. 16 Herald story about the pot shop being robbed.

It will continue as long as the state Liquor and Cannabis Control Board refuses to allow any pot shop to have uniformed, armed guards protecting the employees or merchandise. Even allowing any uniformed or plain clothes guards in each shop is not permitted.

It is as if the control board wants cannabis shops robbed?

Finally, why are there laws in place to prevent businesses from protecting their investments and business and employees from armed robbers?

Pot shops are an easy target. Why not replace the person validating your age and ID with a security guard?

Just my opinion and as always I respect yours also!
