Driver eludes police after crashing into 2 cars, creek

LYNNWOOD — A driver fled from police, collided with two cars and crashed into a creek Monday morning in Lynnwood.

An officer tried to pull over the driver around 9 a.m. outside Grocery Outlet on 44th Avenue W. His vehicle sped west and collided with a car on 200th St. W. Then a few hundred yards to the west, the car struck another vehicle at 50th Ave. W, Lynnwood police Cmdr. Sean Doty said.

The car crashed into a creek. The man ran west through the Beaver Cove apartments. Officers called in a police dog, but couldn’t find him.

No one was seriously hurt. The crashed vehicle was impounded.
