High schools bring in 20K pounds of food

Edmonds School District high schools each held a holiday food drive. Together, this year’s efforts brought in more than 20,000 pounds of food for food banks.
Lynnwood High School students collected more than 8,000 pounds of food and $6,100 in cash, their most successful effort yet.
Meadowdale High School collected more than 1,500 pounds of food.
Mountlake Terrace High School collected more than 6,400 cans of food and more than $1,500 for the food bank.
Edmonds-Woodway High School students collected 10,000 pieces of non-perishable food items and raised about $3,000 for their local food bank.
