Santa Run ends strong

Arlington’s annual Santa Run for 2017 ended Dec. 10 with 10,433 pounds of food and $1,827.41 in donations collected for the Arlington Community Food Bank. Santa and his elves traveled by fire engine to collect donations in neighborhoods. They set a one-day record on their Dec. 6 tour of the Crown Ridge, Eagle Heights and Magnolia neighborhoods, with 1,714 pounds of food and more than $200.
