EVERETT — Strong winds knocked out power to more than 10,000 households in Snohomish County on Friday. Crews worked through the night and into Saturday to restore electricity.

Gusts reached 51 mph in Mukilteo during Friday night’s storm, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle.

About 20 homes remained without power at 6 p.m. Saturday, according to the Snohomish County Public Utility District. Most of those outages were concentrated near Arlington.

Rain from the storm wasn’t expected to flood local rivers. The week ahead was forecast to be dry and cold.

There was potential for freezing fog overnight Saturday. Sunday through Wednesday should remain in the 30s and 40s, with no rain.
