Driver ran from crash near Lynnwood, left passenger behind

LYNNWOOD — A driver reportedly ran away after wrecking a pickup truck near Lynnwood early Saturday, leaving an injured man in the passenger seat.
The Toyota Tacoma was traveling south on Highway 99 around 1:45 a.m., according to a Washington State Patrol memo. As the truck approached the intersection with Highway 525, it rolled and landed on its top. It was unclear what caused the pickup to crash.
The driver ran, according to the State Patrol. A 26-year-old Mountlake Terrace man, who was in the passenger seat, was taken to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries were not immediately available.
