Heavy rain forecast, with possible flooding Sunday-Tuesday

EVERETT — Another big rainstorm is on its way to Snohomish County, and rivers could rise quickly.

People should be prepared for flooding between Sunday and Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Heavy rainfall, coupled with the already saturated soil, could cause rivers to swell. It also increases the likelihood of landslides.

The rain is forecast to taper off after Tuesday.
