The South Everett-Mukilteo Rotary Club regularly honors Students of the Month from local high schools. Among the recent honorees:

Cami Kloes, a junior at Cascade High School, Is in leadership and helps lead National Honor Society and French Club. She regularly volunteers at Camp Prov. She hopes to travel, and plans to become a nurse midwife.

Joseph Hofman, a junior at Cascade High School, serves as a student representative on the Washington State Board of Education. He’s helping plan a donation drive for feminine hygiene products to benefit at-risk teens served at Cocoon House.

Holli Miller, a junior at Cascade High School, is involved in leadership and is editor in chief of the yearbook. She also is planning the school’s first all-inclusive dance.

Madaline Kapetanov, a junior at Cascade High School, is in leadership and plays on the tennis and swim teams. As part of her German class, she also visits Emerson Elementary School to teach students the language.

Quinci Flowers, a junior at Kamiak High School, helps lead Hugs for Ghana and plays volleyball. She hopes to continue playing volleyball and to study medicine.

Samuell Oh, a junior at Kamiak High School, is in leadership and plays tennis. The viola and guitar player also is active in his church and has helped build houses in Mexico.

Makayla Pettis, a student at Mariner High School, wants to go to college and become a doctor.

Reginald Bright, a senior at Mariner High School, is active in drama club, step team, and the Black Student Union. He hopes to pursue a career in the arts.
