Soroptimists extend support to Days for Girls

Soroptimist International of Everett recently presented the nonprofit Days for Girls with a $500 donation. Days for Girls supplies reusable feminine hygiene materials to girls living in poor and remote areas of the world.
Soroptimist members also bought, washed, ripped and donated over 75 yards of flannel to the local Days for Girls chapter to be used to make products for young women in South America. The group also pitched in $700 to help the local chapter make the trip.
