“Aging Mastery” classes

The Stillaguamish Senior Center offers the five-session “Aging Mastery” program, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays, May 2 to 30. Lunch is provided. Classes will be at the senior center at 18308 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington. Registration is required and costs $25.

Skilled trades for teens

Arlington High School hosts a Skilled Trades Event, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 2 in the bus parking lot on the high school campus at 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd. Teens from area high schools are invited to connect with potential employers, find apprentice opportunities and learn about careers in skilled trades. More than two dozen companies will be represented.

Writing workshop with Bardsley

Herald columnist and YA author Jennifer Bardsley will be among the presenters at the Seattle Writing Workshop, set for Saturday in Bellevue. The event costs $169.

Donate instruments to Music4Life

Music4Life of Everett hosts an instrument donation drive and concert on May 3 at the Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave. Donate used or new band and orchestra instruments from 6 to 7 p.m. Then enjoy a concert at 7 with Randy Oxford Band and nearly 200 student musicians from around the Everett School District who have benefited from the program. The concert is free but donations will be accepted.

Music4Life provides instruments to help more students participate in school music programs.

Village gala coming up

Arlington nonprofit Village Community Services holds an “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” gala and auction fundraiser, 5:30 p.m. May 5 at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Tickets are $50.

Scholarships for teens

The Mukilteo Schools Foundation offers scholarships to graduating seniors in the Mukilteo School District. Applications are online at mukilteoschoolsfoundation.org and are due by 5 p.m. April 30.
