LYNNWOOD — A pileup on Alderwood Parkway injured one person and shut down the arterial route Monday afternoon.

At least six vehicles collided around 2:30 p.m. on the parkway at Maple Road, according to Lynnwood police. The impact flipped a red Honda Accord onto its roof. An ambulance took one person to a local hospital. The injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to police.

A Community Transit bus serving Route 115 was involved in the crash, and dropped the rest of its route, according to the transit authority.

Police were investigating what led up to the crash.

Southbound lanes remained closed for about an hour.
