1. Bike Everywhere Day

Grab your bike and hit the road.

You could even get some goodies along the way.

Bike Everywhere Day, a nationally recognized celebration of biking, is this Friday. Volunteers with Community Transit, Boeing and Everett Transit will be handing out free souvenirs, snacks and coffee at three “Celebration Stations,” from 6 to 8 a.m. at the Lynnwood Transit Center, 202nd Street SW and 46th Avenue W.; from 1 to 3 p.m. at Boeing Everett, 75th Street SW and Seaway Boulevard; and from 6 to 9 a.m. at Everett Station, 3201 Smith Ave.

Community Transit encourages people to use bikes and buses in their daily commutes. More at www.communitytransit.org/bikes.

2.Teddy Bear Clinic

Has your child’s teddy bear been feeling a little under the weather lately?

Take it to the Teddy Bear Clinic.

South County Fire hosts an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lynnwood Civic Center Fire Station 15. Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to be a “patient” and receive emergency care from firefighters in the medic unit. There will also be tours of lifesaving equipment, opportunities for kids to dress in firefighting gear and healthy aging tips for older citizens. More at www.southsnofire.org.

3. All-Inclusive Bingo

Rainbow Bingo is back once again with its arms open wide.

The event, set for 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Edmonds Lutheran Church, is meant to express the church and community’s support for the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer (LGBTQ) community. There will be a costume contest, prizes and food.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for kids under 12 years old. Get $5 off by wearing a costume. More at www.edmondslutheran.org.
