Woman’s body found near Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD — Police are investigating the death of a woman found on property in the 13500 block of Manor Way.

Detectives with the Snohomish County sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit were called to the scene Thursday night.

It was unclear how the woman died, and it’s too early to determine if the death is suspicious, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said Friday.

The woman is believed to be 48 and from Everett, but the sheriff’s office is waiting for confirmation from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner as well as autopsy results.

A witness reported finding the body, Ireton said.
