EVERETT — Three masked men robbed an Everett minimart and a customer at gunpoint late Wednesday.
Security video shows the trio skipping and jogging into Welch’s Foods around 11 p.m. in the 2200 block of Colby Avenue. Two of the men, in their 20s or 30s, pointed black handguns at the clerk, according to Everett police.
They were given cash but demanded to see the safe. They were told there was no safe. They turned to a customer and took that person’s wallet, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
They sprinted out of the store with money and merchandise.
Two of the suspects were about 5-foot-9 and wore black clothes. One of them had a blue backpack with a single strap over the shoulder. The third suspect was a little taller, wearing a light-gray hoodie and blue jeans.
Tips can be directed to Everett police at 425-257-4850.
