Landslide suspends Amtrak Seattle-Portland service

OLYMPIA — Amtrak officials say a landslide between Portland and Seattle has suspended service between the cities.
Officials said the landslide Saturday north of Olympia will keep the route closed until Sunday.
BNSF Railway owns the track and has placed a 48-hour moratorium on service in the area.
Amtrak saids it’s seeking alternate transportation for service between Kelso and Seattle.
