Motorcyclist seriously injured in accident

EVERETT — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash Wednesday south of Everett.

The rider collided with a car around 4 p.m. at Beverly Park and Gibson roads, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The biker was unconscious when taken by aid crews to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

Sheriff’s deputies were investigating what led up to the crash. The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies.
