Boat crash leaves man with minor injuries

EVERETT — One man was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for treatment of minor injuries after a boating accident Friday night.

Police sent out their marine unit after the 21-foot boat crashed on the south end of Jetty Island.

Two men were aboard at the time, according to a social media post by the Everett Police Department. Their ages were not immediately available.

Police said speed and navigation were factors in the crash. The boat was left beached on the rocks.
