LYNNWOOD — Police arrested a man believed to have assaulted a Subway employee on Sept. 17.
The incident started when the worker told the suspect to repark his vehicle, which was taking up multiple spaces, before he could buy anything.
The suspect jumped over the counter and repeatedly attacked the worker, punching him in the face and the body, shoving him to the floor and attempting to smash his cellphone.
The victim went to the hospital afterward and underwent surgery for a fractured jaw.
The attack was captured on camera. Lynnwood police identified a suspect after someone recognized him in a surveillance video that was made public.
A man, 27, was arrested Wednesday after a brief standoff with police at his Lynnwood home. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault.
