Wintertide in Everett
Everett celebrates its annual Wintertide from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave. This free event features Santa, theater performances, arts and crafts, face-painting, musical performances, a holiday photo booth and more inside, as well as free cocoa and cookies by a bonfire outside.

Winterfest in Lake Stevens
The city, with help from the Lake Stevens Kiwanis Club, is again putting on the downtown Winterfest celebration, 4:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday along Main Street. Santa is scheduled to arrive at 5:30 p.m. to light the Christmas tree. Hot cocoa, cookies, caroling and more.

Merrysville in Marysville
A winter wonderland of family activities comes Saturday to Comeford Park, 514 Delta Ave., as the annual Merrysville for the Holidays season kicks off. Starting at 5 p.m., find photo booths, activities and a craft show. Live music by Holiday Harmony Pop starts at 5:30 p.m. Then at 6:30 p.m., it’s the Electric Lights Parade with Santa and Mrs. Claus, followed by the lighting of the water tower and a bonfire.

Light up the holidays in Stanwood
Local businesses invite you to Light Up Your Holidays in Stanwood on Saturday. Enjoy an old fashioned Christmas from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center, 27130 102nd Ave. NW, with free photos with Santa, kids crafts, treats and gifts. The downtown tree lighting celebration follows from 3 to 5 p.m. with horse-drawn carriage rides, live music and more. There also is an Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl from 5 to 8 p.m.

Holiday activities in Monroe
The Skykomish Valley Indian Education program holds its annual Holiday “Make and Take” and Family Photos event, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the display hall at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds off U.S. 2 in Monroe. Admission and parking are free.
There will be kids crafts, a Native art sale and a food drive to benefit Sky Valley Food Bank. Family photos are for a suggested donation of $10, with proceeds benefiting community events and the Skykomish Valley Indian Education Parent Organization scholarship fund. Santa comes to Mill Creek
Santa’s Coming to Town in Mill Creek on Saturday. Enjoy free train rides starting at 2 p.m., then cheer on the Santa Parade at 3:30 p.m. along Main Street through Mill Creek Town Center. The annual tree lighting celebration is at 4 p.m. at Mill Creek City Hall South, 15728 Main St., with live music and cookie decorating. More fun follows with free carriage rides and a Christmas concert.
