Marysville’s Grove Street to close

Grove Street is scheduled to close between State and Cedar avenues from 7:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays, starting this weekend. The road, which might be open some days, should fully reopen before Dec. 14.

Crews will perform geotechnical work for preliminary design of the Grove Street Overcrossing. The elevated roadway over the BNSF Railway tracks will help relieve traffic delays during train crossings. The total project cost is estimated at $24 million; construction is not yet funded or scheduled.
