EDMONDS — A man stabbed his brother at their home in Edmonds on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

The man called 911 requesting aid at their house on 203rd Street SW.

When police arrived, the man walked the officers to the backyard, where his 45-year-old brother lay bleeding.

The man, reportedly intoxicated, said someone had broken into the house and attacked his brother.

The brothers have not been getting along recently, according to police. The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault. He has previously threatened law enforcement and has three convictions for felony assault, according to the arrest report.

The victim was listed in critical condition Wednesday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
