Body of missing man found off of highway east of Arlington

ARLINGTON — A man’s body was found Thursday afternoon off of Highway 530, east of Arlington, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

He is believed to be in his 60s and was reported missing in March.

Someone working in the area had discovered the body near the 30500 block.

The death does not appear to be suspicious, according to a statement from the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are still investigating.

Identification of the man, as well as cause and manner of death, will come from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
