Monroe sets last school day

Monroe School District has received approval from the state Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction to waive making up two of the six days of school that were missed due to inclement weather in February. That makes the last day Friday, June 21, the district recently announced. To meet the mandatory minimum hours of instruction requirements, dismissal time will be noon for middle and high schools and 1 p.m. for elementary schools.
