Two men injured in exchange of gunfire north of Marysville

MARYSVILLE — Two men were injured Monday afternoon in an apparent exchange of gunfire north of Marysville.

They got into an altercation outside of a house in the 11000 block of 72nd Avenue NE, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

One man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. His injuries were considered life threatening.

The other man was shot in the arm and was expected to survive.

The two men knew each other. Deputies were still investigating at 2 p.m.
